Subtitled as: "An Analysis and Synthesis of Pianoforte Tone-Production". The book has tan-coloured boards and spine. Part of the subtitle and the author's name are shown on the front cover in black script. Part of the main title together with the author's and publisher's names are shown on the spine in gilt script. The spine has faded by sunlight due to storage on a book shelf. There is a little bumping to the corners and some shelf wear near the spine. The hinges are in good condition but show some foxing. The pages are well-cut but show discolouration especially on the edges.
