Hardback, 428 pages, in slipcase with 3 accompanying vinyl discs in sliding drawer containing recordings of the musical examples referred to in the talks (and written in notation in the book). Slipcase is in generally good and sound condition with some shelfwear to edges and a tear to the opening edge of the pull-out disc drawer. The book cover is in good / very good and clean condition. Internally, the book is in good, clean, firm and bright condition. Partially rubbed out inscription on front free end-paper but otherwise, no marks, tears or creases. Fascinating talks by the great conductor and composer with a number of illustrations and musical examples which are accompanied by actual relevant recordings on the three enclosed vinyl discs.
