£5.99

Product description

Robin Fulton was born in 1937 in Arran and grew up there and in Sutherland. After teaching in various schools in Scotland from 1960 to 1969 he held the Writers' Fellowship at Edinburgh University from 1969 to 1971. He was the editor of Lines Review from 1967 to 1976, and continues as general editor of the associated Lines Review editions. His Contemporary Scottish Poetry, a highly professional study of the works of leading post-war poets, was published in 1974. In 1966 he shared the Gregory Award and in 1972 received an Arts Council Writer's bursary; for his translations from Swedish he received two bursaries from the Swedish Writers' Fund, the 1977 Artur Lundkvist Award and the 1978 Swedish Academy award for translators. The present Selected Poems draws upon five collections published between 1966 and 1974 and adds some more recent work.

Slightly frayed at the top of the spine and a few small creases and marks on the cover.
