Hodza, himself a Shona, and edited and translated by Professor Fortune, who also writes the introduction. In it he presents an account of the traditional culture of the Shona of which the poems are an expression. Part of the Oxford Library of African Literature.

Condition: Dust jacket is slightly shelf worn and marked. Otherwise every interior page is crisp, clean with a good tight binding.
