The Morning of the Poem

£14.99 Out Of Stock

Product description

Schuyler's collection has at its core a nearly book-length poem in which the elements of letter writing, autobiography, and fable combine to transfigure poet and audience, past and present, suffering and pleasure. This is an ex-library book; the dust jacket is protected in a transparent plastic sleeve, which is taped to the book and on the front free end paper there is the residue of library labels and a Withdrawn from Stock stamp. There is also a library stamp on the publisher's page. Apart from slight dust soiling to text block edges and a rust-coloured stain high on the leading edge of the text block the book is in very good condition, tightly bound with clear text on clean pages and a charming front cover illustration by Anne Dunn.
