Tropisms and The Age of Suspicion

£50.00

Product description

'This volume presents both her Tropisms which, as she herself has stated, are the source of her entire oeuvre, important to a full understanding of the later works, and her remarkable critical essays, to which she has given the title The Age of Suspicion. Because of Madame Sarraute's pioneering role among the creators of what has become known as the "new novel", or nouveau roman, these two texts constitute an essential background to some of the most significant aspects of contemporary literature.'

The dust jacket is in great condition. There are some slight grub and scuff marks on the front and rear of the jacket. The book itself is in excellent condition. The front and rear boards contain no visible blemishes or damage. There is some slight foxing on the top edge. The text block is in fantastic condition.
