This is a hardback book which details the history of the fishing hook.

It is complete with dust jacket, which is in good condition, but price clipped. The boards are covered in brown cloth with silver printing and are in excellent condition. The pages are in very good condition and are extensively illustrated with both coloured and black-and-white photographs, and line drawings.

This is the 1977 English first edition, published by Adam & Charles Black (following the original Norwegian edition by Grøndahl & Søn in 1976) and has the jacket with the white background.

148 pages, approx 170mm x 250mm.
