Soft-bound; 185 x 245 mm; xviii & 697 pages. No dust jacket.
The book is in good condition. The binding is sound. The covers show signs of wear (creasing, denting, a few marks and some bumping) as is to be expected, and the spine is faded. The inside of the front cover is annotated in green ink: “HUGH C. MILES 01.05.2001.” Apart from a small dog ear and a few marks on the half-title, the contents are generally clean and unmarked.
The book covers in detail the aspects of navigation described in its title. It is printed on good quality paper. This is a technical publication and will appeal to those with experience of, or an interest in the principles of navigation set out within.
