A comprehensive, well illustrated manual for the carpenter and joiner, within half leather and marbled boards, dated approximately 1860. Overall condition is good, with the boards worn but intact and the contents bright and tightly bound, suffering only from minor foxing and dust staining. the hinges are cracked at the end papers and between pp172-173, with no loss or loosening of the pages. The front free end paper and title page contain an embossing and the name of an earlier owner.
