The full title of the book is The Shire-horse society - Stud Book Stallions 28955-30059 Mares 65531-69349.

The Thirty-third Volume of the Shire Horse Stud Book contains the following entries:-

Illustrations are given of the Champion Stallion and Champion mare at the London Show, 1911, viz: Mr A. Grandage's "Gaer Conqueror" and Mr. Max Michaelis' "Pailton Sorais".

A new feature in this volume is the statement in regard to the Board of Agriculture's scheme for the registration of Stallions after veterinary examination. As the object in view is to provide breeders with a list of Stallions certified to be sound, the Council of the Shire Horse society have had much pleasure in publishing the particulars, supplied to them by the Board, respecting all Shire stallions registered under this scheme up to December 31st, 1911, and therefore certified free from the scheduled diseases.
