Full leather bound, with deeply embossed front and back cover. Metallic (Brass?) corners and hinged clasps. Some rubbing to front edge of spine, and general wear. Text block is solid and clean, with some light foxing. A beautiful ornate dedication to the original owner from her parents laid in on card, dated 1883. Family portrait pages are all left blank.
Numerous illustrations throughout, in black and white and colour, on card with protective papers in place..
