Liang Qichao Tan Buddha (color illustration collection)

£25.00

Product description

In simplified Chinese.

Liang Qichao's life and Buddhism formed a bond. Before and after the Reform Movement of 1898, he urged people to study Buddhism, faith in Buddhism, and his later years. He was simply intoxicated with Buddhism. In 1992, when Liang Qichao gave a lecture at Tsinghua University, he made a general overview of Buddhist theory and put forward that the law taught by Buddhists is "psychology." This is a highly sublimated distillation of the modern understanding of the Buddhist scriptures. For the most mysterious "karma and reincarnation" in Buddhism, "impermanence and selflessness", "liberation and nirvana", Liang Qichao used some biological, physical, and chemical scientific knowledge from a philosophical point of view. Liang Qichao's explanation is plain and easy to understand, touching the original meaning of the Buddhist scriptures.
