The Craft of Theology

£8.99

Product description

The development of theology in recent times has been marked not only by diversity but also by division. With the aim of interpreting new information from philosophy and the sciences into a deeper understanding of the world and society, the many theological schools pursued independent agendas with the net effect of a loss of coherence. In this book, the author explores the possibility for greater consensus between the differing theological approaches and illustrates how a "post-critical" theology can draw on the riches of scripture and tradition as it reflects on the faith of the Church in new contexts. Condition: the covers are affected by some mild marking, but are generally in very good condition. The the book's edges suffer from some mild marking and crinkling. There is some occasional highlighting inside the book, but the interior pages are generally clean and bright. The binding is strong.
