Along the Line in Queensland

£7.99

Product description

This softcover book is in good condition overall. The cover of the book is somewhat faded, and has some noticeable markings throughout. The top left corner of the book has a crease throughout, as it was likely folded at some point. The pages of the book are in very good condition, and the many pictures included in the book are without issue. The book was published in 1965 by Traction Publications.

'This book looks at the railways of Queensland in the era when steam was king. The recent date of some illustrations may surprise readers: the fact is, happily for the railway enthusiast, that, despite an intensive programme of desielisation, the Queensland Railways have found it necessary to retain hundreds of steam locomotives, and they look like being with us for quite a while.'
