Functional Neuroscience - Edited by Colin Barber

£29.99

Product description

This book is in very good condition. The cover is clean and undamaged, and the pages are unmarked. There is slight fading to the spine due to sun exposure.

The papers presented in this volume have been chosen from those presented at the Sixth International Evoked Potentials Symposium. The title "Functional Neuroscience" reflects that all of the measures described are of function (as opposed to form) and functional also in the sense of clinical applicability. The book presents a balanced view across a broadening field, with special attention to clinical utility, as clinical findings also contribute to a furtherance of basic knowledge, leading to improved clinical utility. This selection of papers conveys the utility, the action and the promise within this area of functional neuroscience. It contains papers on updates in the field of evoked potentials, visual evoked potentials, somatosensory evoked potentials, event-related and cognitive evoked potentials, and motor evoked potentials.
