Muntjac

£8.99

Product description

This is a study of Muntjac which is a small elusive Asiatic deer. They are difficult to study as they are largely nocturnal and constantly change their resting place. In order to study them, the author made her large wild garden a deisreable source of food and cover. Having attracted them she then set about the task of allowing them to tolerate her presence. The story of these deer is as a result of eight years observation and provides accounts that are both detailed and of scientific value. Charmingly illustrated by the author. Foreword by Ernest G. Neal.
Published in 1969. The DJ is present and protected by a plastic cover; minor creasing to the upper edge. Some writing on the free endpaper. Internally clean. Binding is sound.
