Symposium on Fibrous Proteins (Australia 1967)

£39.99

Product description

This book is a collection of papers presented at the Academy of Sciences, Canberra from 14-18 August 1967. They have been divided into groups with the headings 'Relation between Amino Acid Composition and Conformation of Polypeptides and Proteins', 'Muscle and Bacterial Flagella', 'Collagen and Elastin' and 'Keratin'. The book also includes tables, graphs, diagrams and references for each individual paper.
This book was once part of the library of Struther Arnott CBE (1934-2013) who was Principal and Vice-Chancellor of St Andrews University 1986-1999.

There is slight damage to the bottom edge of the front cover and minuscule tears on the top of the second and last pages, but the book is clean and very well preserved barring these minor details. The front page also has the previous owners name written in the top-right in pen along with a sticker when it once belonged to a personal library.
