Warhammer 40,000: Necrons

£4.99

Product description

In the darkness of the ancient past, the Necrons ruled the galaxy. Such was their mastery of technology and drive to conquer that not even the old ones of legend could stand against them. Yet such unremitting war left the galaxy ravaged. Knowing that the recovery would take millions of years, the Necrons took to their stasis-crypts, there to sleep away the aeons until the galaxy was fit to reclaim. In the long millennia since, the younger races of the galaxy have gone about their petty affairs, little realising the peril slumbering beneath their feet. Now the hour of awakening has come at last. Let the galaxy beware - the Necrons are rising. Inside you will find: 1) The Necrons - Here, the Necrons dark past is laid bare. A civilisation destroyed by a thirst for conquest and a lust for immortality. Learn of the terrible bargain with the C'tan, the horror of biotransference and the campaign for galactic domination that stretches from the depths of the distant past to the war-torn worlds of the 41st millennium. 2) The Army of Aeons Past - This section contains detailed descriptions of the troop types. war machines and mighty heroes of the Necron army, along with the rules for their use in games of Warhammer 40,000. Also contained herein are the Necrons ' impossible techologies and acrane weaponry. In addition, you'll find the most legendary of the Necrons' leaders: the unswerving conqueror that is Imotekh the Stormford, Orikan the Diviner and Illuminor Szeras. 3) The Necrons Legions - A showcase of the Necron range of Citadel Miniatures, showing a wide selection of different painting schemes and styles. 4) Necron Army List - Forge your collection of Necrons into a mighty army ready to reclaim the galaxy. This book is in very good condition apart from some creasing to the top right hand corner of the pages.
