£450.00

Product description

SIGNED by both authors. 256 pp. VG near Fine condition. DJ is clean and bright, though sunned to spine. Green boards with gilt titles to spine are near fine.
Occasional, very faint sunning to page margins otherwise near fine internally. Very clean, bright and tightly bound.

The following is taken from DJ rear:
"The Derby Bentley, with it's beautiful lines and superb engineering, epitomises the very best aspects of Pre-War British craftsmanship and sporting appeal. The "M" series Bentleys, manufactured in 1938 and 1939, represent the last of these wonderfully evocative pre-war Bentleys.

Mervyn Frankel and Ian Strang have been owners of "M" series Bentleys for many years. They have traced most of the original 200, and have compiled a unique dossier on all aspects on of the ownership of these splendid cars.

Illustrated with hundreds of black and white and colour photographs, The 1938/1939 Overdrive Cars is essential reading for "M" series owners and is an invaluable addition to any Bentley enthusiasts's library.".

This is a scarce but delightful copy.
