Cut and Assemble Main Street

£19.99

Product description

Main Street is the real and symbolic avenue of American commerce and activity. In this addition to Dover's Cut & Assemble series The author, A.G. Smith recreated the Main Street of his boyhood in a small Southern town of the 1930s. The collection features nine typical Main Street buildings in H-O scale, all minutely detailed and architecturally authentic. The nine buildings are excellent examples of popular American architecture over a fifty year period ranging from the Italianate ornament of Riley's Grocery, ca. 1875-80, to the Art Deco Facade of McCullough's Bakery, ca. 1930. Step by step instructions with photographs. Of interest to toy and architectural hobbyists and others.

Used soft back book in good condition. All pages intact and unmarked.
