This hardcover book is in very good condition. The book has a gilded title on the cover, and includes the original dust jacket. The cover of the book is in very good condition overall, and has been well protected by the jacket. The jacket itself is slightly more worn, as it has some very small signs of fraying along some edges. The original price is still in the jacket, and has not been cut. On the edges of the pages, there is some noticeable grubbiness along the top edges of the pages, noticeable when the book is closed. Inside however, the pages appear to be without major, if any issue. The book is a first edition published in 1964, and was written by Bill Howes.
'Baits, therefore, are perhaps the most vital part of the angler's armoury, and consequently any book on the subject naturally becomes a valuable contribution to angling literature. Bill Howes, a fisherman and writer of no little experience, discusses a comprehensive range of baits, both common and uncommon, together with methods of obtaining, using, colouring and preserving them. Illustrated with 21 photographs and 8 drawings, Freshwater Fishing Baits is a book which no angler should be without.'
