Presenting a collection of 60 new tatting patterns, mainly designed by the author, this book covers all forms of tatting, from edgings, braids and strips, to composite designs and fragments. Techniques used include such lesser-known types as roll and pearl tatting. Most are original but some classic Victorian designs are also included.;Each pattern is illustrated with a clear photograph, and a number of pieces are suitable for beginners.;The author is a member of the Lace Guild, and of the Ring of Tatters. She has written three other books, which are, "Tatting in Lace", "A Pattern Book of Tatting", and "Heritage Crochet: An Analysis".
