The Story of the Stream

£19.99

Product description

This hardcover book is in good condition overall. The book has a gilded title on the spine. The cover has some wear on the corners and edges, as well as some minor but visible markings. On the edges of the pages, there are issues with foxing, most noticeable when the book is closed. It appears that this issue does extend slightly to the inside the pages, though they do not have a widespread issue with foxing. The pages of the book are in good condition overall, though there is the slight foxing issue, and that the pages feel slightly creased when touched. The book was published by William Heinemann Ltd in 1926 and written by Arthur M. Young.

'I have endeavoured to set down in these pages ; if this book be solace for a rainy day or pastime in the noon-day sun shade, if I have written one line which lifts the Angler's art onto a higher plane, or in a sentence waked that real love of nature that I am confident is present, if dormant, in every human soul, I shall have fully obtained my object - A.M.Y'
