WAS £9.99 £4.99

Bumping to corners and some staining to boards.

Boot's library sticker attached to front cover and on back end paper.

Foxing throughout.

Monochrome photographic illustrations on glossy silk art paper.

From the foreword " It has always seemed to me that the important thing in fishing is the background of the sport; the angler's enjoyment is surely derived not so much from the actual fish caught or missed as from the atmosphere of the places in which he fishes, and his acquaintance with their inhabitants, human or other. A spring salmon would not be at all the same fish if you took him from the Serpentine ... I feel that if this book awakens pleasant memories in the heart of the old angler, and particularly if it helps the novice to a realisation of wider possibilities, it will have served its turn"

Oxfam Shop Southampton

We have a dedicated bridal suite within the Oxfam's Shirley Southampton shop, with good quality fashionable bridal wear and accessories, new and second-hand, usually with a choice of over 200 dresses. Our beautiful wedding dresses can be taken home on the day of purchase. We also have another suite, our Prom Room, with a range of evening dresses, bridesmaid dresses, groom outfits, veils and lots of other wedding accessories.  Selected bridal items are available to order online.

Trying your first wedding gown is by appointment only by booking HERE or you can also book appointments on our Facebook page on this link: https://www.facebook.com/OxfamBridalSouthampton/.  During your one hour, free appointment, our stylist volunteer will help you choose and try on dresses. Usually you have time to try 5-6 dresses, but if there's time you can try as many as you like. Please help us to maintain our dresses by avoiding wearing heavy make-up. We currently have appointments available on Wednesdays and Saturdays from 10.00 am until 4.00 pm.  In addition we sometimes have appointments available on Friday afternoons, dependent upon volunteer availability.

If you are interested in visiting our Prom Room to look at evening wear, bridesmaid dresses, grooms wear and accessories, please telephone us on Wednesday and Saturdays between 10:30 and 3:00 at 023 773192 or message us on our Facebook Page: https://www.facebook.com/OxfamBridalSouthampton/ at any time.

In the main shop, we sell good quality clothes, books, homewares and Oxfam greeting cards.
