Lee Woas
Adlard Coles Limited, Granada Publishing, London, etc, 1983.
Hardback; 160 x 235 mm; blue boards with titles in gold on spine; xviii & 174 pages. Profusely illustrated within text. Original unclipped dust jacket.
The book is in very good condition. The binding is sound. Slight wear to the edges of the dust jacket, and a small white mark on the spine of the book. The back paste-down endpaper has tear mark where something appears to have been removed.
“Self-steering by way of a windvane or an autopilot has become a common accessory of the cruising boat. But they are expensive, they can and do break down, and of course autopilots consume electricity. This manual was written for owners who want simple methods of making their boat self-steer.”
