The Gentle Art of Tramping

£19.99

Product description

Stephen Graham was a British journalist and travel-writer best known for his recounts of travel through pre-revolutionary Russia and his journey to Jerusalem with a group of Russian pilgrims. Most of his works express his sympathy for the poor and his distaste for industrialisation. The Gentle Art of Tramping gives some insight into his values, as well as a guide to living a simple, traveller's life during that period in his life.

This book is in very good condition, with only some minor staining of the cover, fading on the spine, fraying of the cover edges and browning of the paper to note. The binding is strong and the pages are fully readable. There is some writing on the first page of the book.
