A richly embroidered cream wedding dress, unbranded.
It has an unusual wide squared-off V-shaped neckline, which is rounded at the back. The fitted bodice is covered in beading and decorative stitches; the side panels feature leaf shapes outlined in metallic sliver threads, and the front and back panels have leaves and branches in pearlised beads, yellow/gold sequins and diamantes. The ends of the sleeves have the same design, as does the matching fabric belt, which is sewn to the back and ties at the front - the ends of the ties have pointed decorative metal ends. As mentioned above, the sleeves are made from lightweight crepe that has a chiffon-like feel, with a longer length on the inside wrist to the outer. The long skirt is made from the same fabric as the sleeves. It falls straight down at the front, but at the back it's been loosely gathered up to create a bustle-like waterfall effect; this can be let down with small fabric ties hidden inside the skirt; by letting down one or all three, a short or long train can be added (see pictures).
The 'short' train adds approximately 12" to the length, and the 'long' train adds 27". The bodice fastens with a zip down the centre back, which is concealed by a line of fabric covered buttons that fasten with fabric loops. The dress is accompanied by a co-ordinating veil, made by Richard Designs, in a plain cream netting with embroidered edges and small diamante embellishments.
An eye-catching and impressive dress, with exquisite embroidery work and an unusual design, you'll surely be a bride to remember.
Measures 34" bust, 32" waist, 44" hips, 52" length (shoulder to hem) and 20" inside sleeve (outside sleeve measures 7" shorter). The veil measures 42" at the back, and 25" on the front section.
