CORONAVIRUS - LATEST UPDATES FOR THE OXFAM ONLINE SHOP
Read the latest Coronavirus update from Oxfam GB's CEO, Danny Sriskandarajah.
Like all of us here at Oxfam we know many of you are concerned about coronavirus (COVID-19). Our thoughts are with all those affected and those who
are supporting them.
All our operational decisions are being guided by the directions from the Government as well as Oxfam's core principles and values.
We rely on a network of shop staff and volunteers, who dispatch all our donated goods online. However in light of government guidance to avoid all
non-essential contact we have taken the decision to stop all sales of donated items online, as we are unable to fulfil any items from our shops. Our
Sourced by Oxfam and Oxfam Unwrapped ranges are still available to purchase on the Oxfam Online Shop.
It’s with a heavy heart that we have decided to close our high street shops from the end of this Saturday 21st March. It’s absolutely
the right thing to do as the safety of our staff, volunteers and shoppers comes first. Some of our volunteers are elderly, and especially
vulnerable to the infection, and we are acutely conscious of our responsibilities towards them.
Any donated items that have not yet been dispatched will be refunded to you. Delivery of Sourced By Oxfam items and Oxfam Unwrapped
gift cards remains at this time largely unaffected.
If you have received your dispatch notification your item is already on its way to you and should arrive within 5 working days. If you have not yet received notification of dispatch the order will be cancelled and refunded.
While our shops and online hubs are closed we are unable to process any refunds but as soon as we are open again we will notify you and begin processing returns as a priority. If you haven't yet returned an item to us please hold onto it and return it to us within 21 days of our shops and hubs reopening. Sourced by Oxfam goods can still be returned in the normal way please see our FAQ page for further details.
Items that have been returned to us but not yet processed will be stored and as soon as we are able to reopen we will notify you and any refunds will be processed as a priority.
