Vintage Porcelain Hand Painted Tea Jar

£100.00 Out Of Stock

Product description

A beautiful mid 19th century porcelain Tea Jar hand painted with very fine detail paintings of flowers and then hand painted gold gilt pattern to the cover and circumference of the top of the body. This is from one of the Staffordshire fine ceramic makers and there is a mark on the under side. The mark is of a crown above what looks to be a square with a pattern inside, I am unable to locate the mark in any reference book but no doubt someone will be able to identify it.

A very high quality piece that has been loved by the family for decades and has now been donated to Oxfam by the family of a close friend of Bridget Baker who has sadly passed away, she had volunteered at Oxfam Wellington for over 30 years. They wanted this to be sold in memory of our dear friend Bridget.

Measures: 7 3/4" (19.5cm) tall with no damage.
