Set of 4 old green glass advertising bottles.

£34.99 Out Of Stock

Product description

A really interesting set of 4 green hues glass bottles featuring advertising.

Bottle one is a codd bottle features a pinched in neck which creates a platform for the marble inside. The bottle reads " T.Dent, Middlesboro to the front and Rylands 4, Barnsley" to the back. The bottle is 8 inches high and 2 inches in diameter. The bottle is in overall good condition but with some internal scratching to the glass commensurate with age.

Bottle two is a larger bottle standing 9 inches high and 2.5 inches in diameter. Again it is a codd bottle featuring a pinched in neck and marble. The bottle reads "The Middlesbrough Registered Mineral Water Co Ltd", and is marked trade mark. A gentleman with a coat over one arm is in relief on the front between the writing. The bottle is in very good condition with no cracks or chips.

Bottle three reads " Geo.E.Evans Trade Mark, 1915 South Shields". A hand is featured in relief in the middle of the writing. The hand states the word "slip" across the palm. This bottle stands 8 inches tall and 2.5 inches in diameter. The bottle is in good overall condition with a small chip to the glass at the back base.

Bottle 4 is the tallest of the bottles standing 10 inches high and 3 inches in diameter. The bottle reads "Jessop & Forster, Langley Bridge Durham" and features a stone bridge with a stream to the middle of the bottle in relief. The bottle is in overall very good condition.

These would be great added to any old bottle or advertising collection!
