Stuart Fletcher is a glass artist based in Bristol and he began whilst studying an art foundation course. He went on to complete a degree in glass design at the Surrey Institute of Art and Design in 1995. Stuart went on to work as a glass blower for Bristiol Blue Glass Ltd and spent two and a half years helping to produce the range still sold today.

Stuart is part of Topglass which was established in 1999 and is situated in a converted barn at his family home village of Cookley, Worcestershire. As with all his glass works, techniques both traditional and modern, including the use of frit, cane and optic moulds to decorate the glass beyond single colours as you see in this wonderful; example of his work. This large multi coloured glass bauble measures 5" diameter and has swirls of colour in a spiral form, there is a glass hanging eye which will support the weight of this quite heavy bauble, looks different in different light effects.
