Vintage French 84 GR Silver Plated Cutlery

£120.00

Product description

Consisting of 11 Forks and 11 desert spoons, this vintage French cutlery bears the mark for silver plate of a high quality. Each spoon is stamped in the bowl with 84 GR (84 Grams of silver) and the words Metal Blanc (white metal). A similar mark can be seen on the front side of each fork , there is a small makers mark on the back , S.F.A.M which I believe is a company in Chambley dating back to late 19th century, now in Paris . The silver plate is very thick so these items are in very good condition with only surface scratches. Please study the pictures for more detail.

Measures: Spoon 8" (20cm) long with a 1 3/4" (45mm) across the bowl

Fork 8 1/4" long (21cm),
