This fabulous top is designed by Clayeux. The brand was born in 1953 when Mr. and Mrs. Clayeux started designing colourful baby clothes in Burgundy, France. In 1957, Princess Grace Kelly presented her first daughter, Caroline, to the world. The baby was wearing a yellow suit, which was a daring colour at the time! It was the beginning of Clayeux's fame, a brand name of children's fashion. Specialising in knitwear and colourful soft cottons, Clayeux has become the French "couturier" for children. This little top is a golden yellow with a deep pink collar, with splashes of red flowers, apples, bananas and cherries, with green pears, leaves and lemons. The sleeves are T shaped, and there is an asymmetrical front opening with three clear buttons, the top two of which are double breasted. The cotton fabric is cross weaved, so is very strong and sturdy. Cool machine wash.
