This is a collection of 34 postcards of stamps from Great Britain. The themes of the postcards of the stamps in this collection are the Duke of Edinburgh Award Scheme showing the aspects of the Award of Service and Sport that were issued in 1981. A postcard of a stamp from 1981 showing an engagement photo of Prince Charles and Lady Diana Spencer. A Set of postcards of stamps celebrating the Linnean Society in 1988 showing the Yellow Waterlily, the Morel, the Berwick Swan and the Bull-rout fish. A set of Postcards of a set of stamps showing the sports of cricket, boxing, athletics and rugby that were issued in 1980. A set of postcards of stamps showing Caenarfon Castle, Hampton Court Palace, The White Tower of the Tower of London, and the Abbey and Palce of Holyroodhouse that were iiued in 1978. 3 postcards of stamps with one of them having a copy of the stamp on the front in the top left hand corner celebrating the 1980 International Stamp Exhibition in London. This group of 3 stamps shows the Royal Opera House, the Albert Memorial, and Buckingham Palace and was issued in 1980. There is one postcard of a stamp with a copy of the actual stamp in the left hand corner showing the First Day of Issue and is of Sir Henry Wood. The stamp was issued in 1980. There is in this collection a set of 4 postcards of stamps that were issued in 1979 showing British Flowers. The British flowers in this set of postcards of stamps are bluebells, daffodils, snowdrops, and primroses. There is in this collection one postcard of a stamp that was issued in 1981 showing the Chequered Skipper butterfly. There is in this collection one postcard of a stamp showing Prehistoric Skulls celebrating Charles Darwin that was issued in 1982. In this collection there is a set of 4 postcards of stamps showing paintings of horse racing celebrating the Racing at Dorsett Ferry in Windsor in 1684, the Liverpool Great national Steeple Chase in 1839, the Saddling of Mahmoud for The Derby in 1936. This postcard has a copy of the stamp in the top left hand corner and the first day of issue postmark on it, and the First Spring Meeting in Newmarket in 1793. There are 5 postcards of stamps celebrating the National Trust in the form of paintings showing Derwentwater, St Kilda in Scotland, the Giants Causeway in Northern Ireland, Stackpole Head in Wales, and Glenfinnan in Scotland. Two of the postcards in this set have a copy of the stamp in the bottom right hand corner and the first day of issue which was in 1984. The oldest postcards of stamps in this collection were issued in 1978, and the most recent was 1988. All the postcards of the stamps in this collection are in very good condition.
