This hardbound collection comprises the final 39 issues (1,536 to 1,574; 18th Dec 1953 - 10th Sept 1954) of John O’London’s Weekly, the premiere newspaper reporting on and discussing all genres of the arts, which had been published since 1919. Measuring 25.5cm x 29.5cm with the hard covers there are black and white photographs and/or line illustrations on almost every page.

In good condition for newspapers of this age. The hard covers are stained front and back with some shelf wear and bumping. Although tanned, the inner pages show no staining or tears and very minimal foxing and the text, photographs and line illustrations are clearly readable throughout.
