£39.99 Out Of Stock

Product description

A traditional black bowler hat in 100% wool felt. Christys' have improved their use of wool in bowler hats over the years. This can be seen in the construction of the bowler with solid crown and leather headband and complemented by a traditional black grosgrain bow. In contrast the bowler is fully lined with the distinctive red Christys' lining.

The bowler hat was designed in 1850 for Edward Coke to protect the heads of his staff while horse riding. Christys' of London were founded in the UK nearly two hundred and fifty years ago, and were one of the first makers of the bowler. They still make their hats in Great Britain.
