Product description

Excellent cassock coat, internally quilted, in a possibly proofed linen-style cloth. There are no maker's labels or specifications but it is a formal garment designed for clergy holding outdoor services & ceremonies in the winter. It has a stiff stand-up collar piped in black which fastens with 2 braided buttons & loops. The left front crosses over to fasten with 3 braided buttons & loops on the right shoulder. The front is cut in an arc which fastens on the right side with 2 buttons & loops under the arm. The rest of the coat is plain & flares to be wide & long enough to cover a long cassock. The sleeves are integral & long. The coat is lined with a thick blue, white & grey quilted lining. A magnificent, probably bespoke garment, ideal for any reverend gentleman's outdoor services.
