A collection of stand-up routines by cross-dressing stand-up comic Eddie Izzard. Hairnets, dog food, Einstein, Pavlov, Mother Nature, dexterous cats, jam, squirrel, supermarket queues and people called Jeff - nothing is safe from the surreal and sharp-tongued wit of the high-heeled glamour puss.
I 'Unrepeatable' was recorded at the Albery Theatre [since renamed the Noël Coward Theatre], London in March 1994, during a limited seven-week sold-out run of Izzard's celebrated show.
II 'Definite Article' was recorded during his sell-out epic run at the Shaftesbury Theatre in London's West End in 1996. His stream of consciousness style of monologue takes in the world of fresh food shopping, Hannibal and his elephants, Pavlov's Cat, St Paul and the Corinthians and Azerbaijan.
III 'Glorious' features a live show recorded at the Hammersmith Apollo during his sell-out 1997 tour, and delves deeper into the wibbly-wobbly little world of Eddie.
IV In 'Dress To Kill', Izzard takes his unique brand of absurdist, semi-improvised humour to San Francisco, as part of a 1998 sell-out US tour. The film features material not seen in the UK.
V 'Circle' sees the comedian captured in live performance in New York on 26 June 2000
VI 'Sexie' is a live performance of his 2003 world tour, performed in front of an enthusiastic Eastbourne audience.
