1980s comedy starring Ian Holm as a farmer who takes matters into his own hands. With the Transport and General Workers Union on strike, Ben Singleton (Holm) decides to take his 500 geese to market on foot, facing a 100-mile journey to London. Ben soon finds himself considered a hero in the eyes of the nation and the centre of media attention, with a news crew who are more interested in creating their own version of the event than reporting the facts.
