Star Wars '76 / Empire Strikes Back '80 / Return of the Jedi '83 (3 x VHS box-set) U

£9.99

Product description

This box-set contains the brilliant, three original "Star Wars" films, now of course, they're known as "Star Wars" vol.s 4-6, taking into account the three prequels (vol.s 1-3) and sequels (vol.s 7 & 8, so far ...).

Who can forget Darth Vader and his Empire Stormtroopers, invading the rebel space-vessel at the start of "Star Wars" (1976), and the frosty, defiant, sarcastic response of Princess Leia aka Carrie Fisher? Or, the first meeting between young Luke Skywalker (Mark Hamill) and Obi Wan Kenobee (Sir Alec Guiness), on Luke's adopted home planet? Or, the final, incredible battle between the rebels and the Empire, with the aim of destroying the mighty Death Star?

Or, the incredible battle, at the start of "The Empire Strikes Back" (1980), again between a rebel outpost and the tall, walking robot vehicles that carry the murderous Empire forces, on a frozen planet? In that incredible sequel, Luke Skywalker was to learn that Darth Vader was really his father, while the romantic feelings between Han Solo (Harrison Ford) and Princess Leia began to develop, and Luke began his training to become a Jedi Knight, under the watchful eye of Yoda ...

Just when it seemed that the Empire would crush the rebellion, the Jedi Order returned under the new inspiring leadership of Luke Skywalker, in the titular "Return of the Jedi" (1983), where Luke rescued Leia and a crynogically-frozen Han, from the clutches of the glutinous, enormous and imposing figure of Jabba the Hut. Yoda informed Luke that his training was now-complete, and so he and his companions travelled to a moon where the Ewoks lived, and fought out the last battle between the Empire and the rebellion ...

All three VHS cassettes are in EX+ condition, with individual artwork on the covers of each case (samples Photos 1-4).
The outer box is in VG+ condition (sample Photo 1).
