THE COMPLETE TOXIC AVENGER 18

£4.99

Product description

All four films from the cult 'Toxic Avenger' series. 'The Toxic Avenger' (1984) follows Melvin Ferd (Mark Torgl), a young, nerdy janitor at a health club in Tromaville who is forever teased and tormented by a gang of bullies. When one of their pranks goes wrong and Melvin falls from a second storey window into a vat of toxic chemicals, he undergoes a bizarre transformation and sets about becoming New Jersey's first superhero - The Toxic Avenger (Mitchell Cohen). Set five years later, 'The Toxic Avenger: Part II' (1989) follows the Toxic Avenger (Ron Fazio) as he travels to Japan to fight crime in Tokyo after he is employed by Apocalypse Inc. But while he's away the corporation causes chaos back in Tromaville. Will the hero be able to stop them at home and abroad? In 'The Toxic Avenger: Part III - The Last Temptation of Toxie' (1989) the hero agrees to work for Apocalypse Inc to try and earn enough money to fix the sight of his girlfriend Claire (Phoebe Legere). But he soon learns the evil nature of his employers and must take on the Devil, who tries to change the hero back into his old form. In 'Citizen Toxie: The Toxic Avenger IV' (2000) the first superhero from New Jersey - The Toxic Avenger (David Mattey) - must defend his friends from a bizarro version of himself from an alternate universe. While his evil doppelganger, The Noxious Offender (also Mattey), is terrorising the citizens of Tromaville, The Toxic Avenger is trapped in its mirror city Amortville. Will he be able to discover a way to return to his home world in time to stop his nemesis's rampage?
