The Fred Dibnah Collection (DVD boxset; exempt from classification)

£6.99 Out Of Stock

Product description

Collection of four DVDs featuring Britain's favourite steeplejack, Fred Dibnah.

In 'Made In Britain' Fred sets out on a grand tour of Britain's industrial past in search of the engineering and mechanical skills which made Britain the 'workshop of the world' - aboard his beloved 1912 steam traction engine, which he had spent 27 years restoring. The two discs here contain all 12 episodes from the series.

'Fred Dibnah's Age of Steam' is a six-part series which explores his great passion - steam engines.

'A Tribute to Fred Dibnah' includes an outstanding collection of features which capture the best of Fred from the company that produced his programmes for the BBC. 'The BBC Tribute' is produced by Fred's long time friend David Hall and tells Fred's story from his earliest steeplejacking days to filming his last series and receiving his MBE. 'Fred Dibnah's Last Chimney' provides an exclusive record of the felling of Fred's last chimney at the former Park Mill, Royton in May 2004. 'Memories of Fred' features unedited interviews with Fred's friends, old steeplejacking mates, fellow steam enthusiasts, personalities and public figures. 'Fred at the Palace features complete unedited footage of Fred at Buckingham Palace when receiving his MBE. Finally, 'Fred Dibnah - The Age of Steam' is a six part series in which Fred explores his greatest passion - steam engines.

Minor wear to outer slipcase, minor surface marks to cases and discs but overall a lovely used copy.
