Aftermath - Profane Existence Benefit Comp

£5.99

Product description

The Profane Existence Collective (referred to occasionally as 'P.E.') is a Minneapolis-based anarchic-punk collective. Established in 1989, the collective publishes a nationally known magazine (also called Profane Existence), as well as releasing and distributing anarcho-punk crust and grindcore music, and printing and publishing pamphlets and literature. Stacy Thompson describes the collective as “the largest, longest-lasting, and most influential collective in Anarcho-Punk so far.” The collective folded in 1998, although its distribution arm, then called Blackened Distribution, continued operating. It restarted in 2000. "Making punk a threat again" is the group's slogan. After the demise of Profane Existence in 1999, Aftermath was set up to release a few records in an effort to help raise funds to pay off PE's debt (in the area of $20,000).

Aftermath released only a few records before Dan decided to resurrect Profane Existence. This is one such cd which, together with the insert and case, are all in very good condition, no visible flaws.
