Ammusic feat. Cornelius Cardew. Free Jazz. 1966 Vinyl - Rare stero press! AMM - EUK-256

£595.00 Out Of Stock

Product description

AMM’s groundbreaking and inspirational Ammmusic (1966) - was a pivotal moment in the history of free-jazz/improvised music featuring the combined talents of Keith Rowe, Eddie Prévost, Cornelius Cardew, John Tilbury and others. It was recorded by Jac Holzman and released on his Elektra label, marking a precedent juncture of experimental avant-garde and the countercultural underground (by this point Elektra were issuing classic albums by The Doors, Tim Buckley, Judy Collins) and was produced by DNA, a group that included Pink Floyd’s first manager Peter Jenner.

Ammmusic remains in the world of free form jazz, an improvised recording of much historical importance.

Genuine UK final upgrade copy, stereo press EUK-256 on the Elektra label.

Fully play graded and rated excellent plus. No spindle marks and looks virtually unplayed.

Sleeve also in good condition, with only slight bumping to the corners.

A rare find!
