Beethoven Symphony No. 3 -Eroica- Rudolf Kempe. Rare vinyl- Small mark

£200.00

Product description

Beethoven Symphony No. 3 -Eroica- Rudolf Kempe. Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra
Rare vinyl Long play 331/2
Berlin Philharmonic Orchestra

This is an extremely rare piece of vinyl. It is in pristine condition however there is a small mark on side 1 which causes a tick sound, lasting for about 30 ticks.
This is obviously most unfortunate but I have played the record on high quality equipment and can safely say that it is still a fantastic recording and well worth having if you can get past the short period of ticks! which occur towards the end of side 2 - see product photograph for detail.
There is the odd small crackle on Band 1. This is short lived and what you would expect on a vinyl disc of this age. It does not diminish the sound quality in any way, at least not for me. I consider the odd crackle a feature of old vinyl recordings!

This record still has its factory sample sticker. The inner sleeve is also in excellent condition and the outer sleeve is clean but has some slight fading to the edge. An amazing find, this will appeal to collectors. This item was purchased at the original listing price of £300. The small mark was not immediately visible at the time of listing. Therefore the price has now been lowered to reflect this.
