WAS £9.99 £7.99

Product description

Couperin: Pieces de Violes - Desmond Dupre, Nesbitt, Dart
L'Oiseau-Lyre 12" "stereo" vinyl - sleeve notes that this was originally a mono recording reprocessed to give a stereo effect on stereo equipment - OLS 148

Suite No. 1 In E Minor
A1 Prelude
A2 Allemande Legere
A3 Courante
A4 Sarabande Grave
A5 Gavotte
A6 Gique
B1 Passcaille Ou Chaconne

Suite No. 2 In A Major
B2 Prelude
B3 Fuguette
B4 Pampe Funebre
B5 La Chemise Blanche

The vinyl is in very good to excellent condition, showing minimal signs of use or marking on either side. The cover sleeve is in very good order only showing minor creases in the laminate towards the spine and a faint indentation to the outside right of the boxed central picture on the cover. The spine is in very good order with all text fully legible. The back cover is in fair to good order and would be rated higher if not for a pen marking "Shelve: 'Couperin'" and darkened dried tape markings which were above the cataloguing number.

Records are checked visually to RRPG grades (vinyl/sleeve). We recommend the vinyl is cleaned by a professional in order to maximise the sound quality.

Oxfam Bookshop Lymington

Lymington is on the South coast, bordering on the New Forest National Park which was created as a Royal Forest in 1079 by William the Conqueror, and first recorded as 'Nova Foresta' in the Doomsday Book in 1086. Our Oxfam Shop at 73, The High Street is in a lovely Georgian building, the tallest in Lymington. The elegant Georgian buildings lining the wide main street were built mostly for merchants in the local salt trade. The famous Saturday market brings the town to life with its variety of stalls. The area is renowned for outdoor pursuits, including camping, sailing, windsurfing, and surfing, as well as forest walks and horse riding.
