£6.99

Product description

Modern Music: Volume X of the History of Music in Sound - various artists

HMV - 2x 12" 33rpm vinyl set - HLP 26/27

A: Impressionism, Late Romanticism
B: Late Romanticism, Anti-Romantic Reaction
C: Anti-Romantic Reaction, Twelve-Note Music
D: Modern Eclecticism

Both vinyls come in separate cover sleeves. The vinyls themselves are in an excellent condition, showing minimal signs of usage (if any). The cover sleeves are in good order but have pen markings on the upper left sides of both front covers. There is minor laminate peeling towards the upper right front side of HLP 27. The back covers of both vinyls have also been marked with red pen "History" and "University of Southampton Department of Music" ink stamps, as well as some independent cataloguing on the upper right of the back covers on both. There is a slight tear on the upper right of the back cover of HLP26. The spines on both covers are in excellent order with all text remaining fully legible. The price of this set has been adjusted to reflect the condition of the covers.

Records are graded visually to RRPG grades (record/sleeve). We recommend the vinyls are cleaned by a professional in order to maximise the sound quality

Oxfam Bookshop Lymington

Lymington is on the South coast, bordering on the New Forest National Park which was created as a Royal Forest in 1079 by William the Conqueror, and first recorded as 'Nova Foresta' in the Doomsday Book in 1086. Our Oxfam Shop at 73, The High Street is in a lovely Georgian building, the tallest in Lymington. The elegant Georgian buildings lining the wide main street were built mostly for merchants in the local salt trade. The famous Saturday market brings the town to life with its variety of stalls. The area is renowned for outdoor pursuits, including camping, sailing, windsurfing, and surfing, as well as forest walks and horse riding.
