(featuring the Pittsburgh Symphony Orchestra, conducted by the legendary Andre Previn, soloist Misha Dichter)

Franz Liszt was so determined that both the soloist and orchestra, should play equal parts in his first piano concerto, that it was more than a quarter of a century between the initial conception, and the final completion of the work (although it goes without saying, that Liszt worked on many other pieces during this time).
Side One : Piano Concerto No.1 in E flat, by Liszt :-
i) I Allegro maestoso ii) II Quasi adagio iii) Allegretto vivace - Allegro animato iv) Allegro marziale animato.

Liszt also took more than twenty years, to completely finish his Piano Concerto No.2 (with a number of years overlapping No.1's composition).
Side Two : Piano Concerto No.2 in A, by Liszt :-
i) I Adagio sostenuto assai ii) II Allegro agitato assai iii) III Allegro moderato - Allegro deciso iv) IV Marziale un poco meno allegro v) V Allegro animato.
