A rare copy of a limited edition (300) produced by Turret Records. Sleeve and record in generally good condition although visible marks across tracks 5, 6, 8 and 9 on side 1 produce some light 'crackling'.

Poems by various authors set to music: Ben Jonson, Hillaire Belloc, WB Yeats, John Donne, Lawrence Durrell, WH Auden, Lord Byron, Christina Rosetti, WH SHakespeare, and others.

Performers: Noelle Barker with Jonathon Cohen, and with an instrumental group; John Barrow with Diana Wright; Wilfred Brown with Margaret McNamee; Bryan Drake with Diana Wright; and Belle Gonzalez with instrumental groups.
