Box Set containing 4 CDs, a 120-page illustrated, colour book with career overview, definitive discography, detailed track notes, etc, plus a selection of Swarbrick fiddle tunes transcribed by Maartin Allcock
The 73 tracks (over five hours of music) stretch from Swarb's earliest recordings to his latest, including selections from every duo, band and session line-up he has been involved in, legendary 'lost' recordings, and out-takes and alternate takes from all of his key albums. Among the many individuals and groups he has performed with are Ewan MacColl, the Ian Campbell Folk Group, Martin Carthy, Fairport Convention, Beryl Marriott, Richard & Linda Thompson, Whippersnapper, Eureka and Band Of Hope, all featured here along with other well know names from the British folk music scene.

CD1 "D is for Duo" - from Carthy in the '60s (and 90s!), Simon Nicol in the '80s, and all his magical pairings with Bert Lloyd, Peter Bellamy and more.
CD2 "C is for Collaborations" A history of Swarbrick's bands, from the Campbells & Beryl Marriott's Ceilidh band, through his Fairport years, to Whippersnapper, Band of Hope, Eureka, and beyond.
CD3 "E is for Extras". Sixteen unique and most rare Swarb performances, including early live recordings.
CD4 "S is for Swarb". Twenty-one landmark Swarb performances from across his 45-year career, from the smallest folk clubs to the largest concert halls.

Outer box shows signs of wear, slightly scuffed and scratched on back. Contents in very good condition.
